Even the most talented writers can feel challenged when writing about their own work. In fact, my experience is that the better the writer, the more humble they are. So it was an immense pleasure to help this wordsmith find the words and images to help tell the story of her writing and of her role as a teacher and speaker. When Donna hired me, she was a few months away from publishing her first fiction novel for adults after publishing a robust body of young adult and non-fiction work (and you should read her brilliant novel, The Nine Lives of Rose Napolitano!) To reflect this, we created branding that was was elegant and sophisticated, signaling this new phase in her work, while keeping it colorful and fun. The end result is the story of Donna’s career, and I am so proud and grateful to be part of its evolution.
